01 — About us
We started as an academy's spreadsheet problem
Athlo began inside a real badminton academy that was drowning in WhatsApp groups, paper attendance sheets and a fee ledger nobody trusted. We built the tool we needed, then realized every academy around us needed the exact same thing.
Today it's grown from a match-tracking app into the operating system academies run on — but the goal hasn't changed: give the people who run academies their time back.
Built for the sport, not adapted to it
Every rule — scoring, ranking, verification — is modeled on how badminton is actually played and run, not a generic gym-management template.
Data stays where it belongs
Every academy's players, matches and payments are fully isolated. The only shared view is an opt-in global leaderboard.
Mobile-first, on purpose
Coaches are on a court, parents are on the move, players are between games. It works as an installable app straight from the browser.
Made with academies, not just for them
Every module — coach dashboards, court booking, fee installments — came from a real academy hitting a real wall, not a feature checklist.
